ArtHouse Hotel New York City

Hey, you guys! This was my very first hotel in New York City. Even better, just to say New York in general. I didn't know what to expect, but I decided to stay at the ArtHouse Hotel. I shared the room with a friend who arrived on the second day, so I'll talk about my experience before she came.

The hotel atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. The decor and theme of the hotel are contemporary rooms in a fashionable lodging with a 1920s-inspired bar and an Italian eatery.

I arrived at the hotel early, and the staff was beyond nice to let me check in early at no extra cost. Now, let's talk about the room.

The room was smaller than what I thought, and the bathroom was very small too. The hotel usually costs $180 per night, but I got it for $130 per night, which was a deal. I stayed in a deluxe double bed room. I felt like the room was a true definition of how New York living is. The backdrop of blue was a bit weird and basic to me personally, especially for how much I paid (I don't know the exact cost because I got this hotel in a package).

Since it was my first time in NYC, the size of the room didn't really bother me. It was the time I spent outside that mattered. But if you go to my Brooklyn page, you will find a hidden gem that I definitely recommend.
